Kelly introduced her two acrylic and watercolor series
Heart of Palm and Strange Fruits
in a one-artist show at the Hilton Head Framing and Gallery on HIlton Head Island, June 30 - July 23, 2005.
She lectured and demonstrated watercolor during the show.

Mary Kelly exhibited her paintings in a one artist show at the Art Gallery, St. Mary of the Woods College, Terre Haute Indiana, opening March 1, 2000. The show ran from March 1 - 31.
On March 1st at 7 pm, Kelly lectured and showed slides of her recent work and discussed its origin.
Two series were included in the exhibition "Shrine of the Black Virgins" a group of seven large oils portraying black female cult images from around the world. Kelly also showed her recently completed "Women With Wings" a mixed-media series of nine works showing motifs of winged women from pre-Christian to contemporary.
Kelly showed watercolors titled "Shells" at the Art League in 2002. There were approximately 50 framed and unframed watercolors displayed for 6 weeks. Above is a photograph of the opening.

And with Rod Kerr, a two-artist show at the Hilton Head Library
RED, WHITE AND BLEU later in the year.
In 2008, she exhibited in INSPIRED BY HONEY HORN with the Apple Pie Painters at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn on Hilton Head. The theme was paintings made during the previous year of the renovations.
With four photographers, she showed her weaving at the HIlton Head Art League in June 2009.
Again with the Applepie Painters, APPLEPIES ON THE MOVE Kelly showed new watercolors in her ICE series at the Charles St. Gallery in Beaufort in 2010 and with them at the Art League Gallery on Hilton Head in 2011.
GODDESSES IN WORLDWIDE CULTURES was presented in 2012 from June 1 - September 1 at the Bluffton Library, accompanied by lectures, book signings and an ethnic textile show.
