Since coming to Hilton Head, I have been turning to acrylic painting to express the interest I have in color and textures of natural forms. I have also been inspired by my students in acrylic painting classes I am currently offering here on the island.

Below are two recent series I painted in 2002 - 2003.

STORM SERIES:

Titles reflect a single storm on the beach and the calm the following morning.

The series follows a single sago palm tree through its seasonal cycles.
